We are thrilled to announce the completion of our new orphanage home, made possible by your generous support. This safe haven now stands as a testament to the compassion and dedication of our donors. However, our mission to provide a loving home for orphaned children is far from over. To accommodate more children in need and expand our impact, we urgently require additional land.
We’re excited to share an opportunity that holds the promise of lasting impact! Our organization is embarking on a mission to acquire three acres of land for our community projects. This endeavor will enable us to grow our own food, rear animals, and engage in livestock farming for orphans, street kids, and other needy children within our community.
Vumbula Youth Centre, we believe children don’t just need a hand out, but a hand up. Growing up in poverty, children face tough challenges: hunger and malnutrition, limited access to education and medical services, social discrimination and isolation.
We believe every child deserves to get basic needs, live a full life, and have the chance to grow and learn so that they may reach their full potential.

Children and youth growing up in poverty typically lack proper health care and nutrition. They’re also more likely to be exposed to the stress of domestic violence, gangs and drugs. All of this can impair brain development, negatively impacting long-term physical and mental well-being.
The cycle of poverty is an interconnected mix of factors that imprisons entire communities for generations.
